Charlie Castell, a musician and activist, began his musical journey at a young age, recognizing music's power for change.

Charlie’s style draws inspiration from contemporary artists like Coldplay and Keane, while his lush harmonies and orchestrations are reminiscent of more classic influences like The Beatles, Billy Joel, Burt Bacharach, and The Beach Boys.

Moving to the US, he collaborated with various artists releasing EPs as the rock/pop duo Mellott, and two albums with his brother (the Castell Brothers). In 2015, his solo EP "Take a Breath" delved into personal themes, but it was his activism that has more recently shaped his artistry.

Co-founding Face The Music Collective in 2019, Castell used music to inspire social action, raising funds and mobilizing communities.

His 2020 release, "We'll Have a Christmas," produced by Andre de Santanna, gained acclaim from Peter Yarrow, showcasing Castell's ability to blend activism with music.

Now, addressing political corruption and gun violence, his lyrics resonate with emotion and wit. "My America," a preview of the album "Beautiful Apocalypse," critiques America's missteps and calls for unity and love

Castell's music challenges injustice and motivates change, emphasizing the power of unity and cooperation. Through his work, Castell proves music's enduring role in social commentary, inspiring audiences to make a difference in their communities.

Hey, this is Charlie. I'm sending out a warm and heartfelt Thank You for being here on this ride with me. Knowing that my music might connect with some of you, make this all worth it.

With love and gratitude...and music,

Charlie Castell
